Ketidak Jujuran Akademik Daripada Perspektif Islam: Etika, Integriti dan Syariat

Abstract

Academic dishonesty is a violation of the academic integrity. Islam essentially does not recognize and condemn the illegal act and deviated from the basic tenets outlined. Islamic scholars agree that the deviant act as academic dishonesty is prohibited and abominable in Islam. This act also violates the basic principle of honesty and ethical and moral fact in academic. Islam
recognized knowledge as a shared asset and it should be shared sparingly and not in a way that violates Islamic law such as plagiarism, copying, stealing other people's information. Transmission and technological development requires strength values of integrity, good character and high moral to prevent this phenomenon occurs. Development of religious consciousness, religious, spiritual values, understanding the high ethical values should be enhanced so that transmission is capable of academic dishonesty handled properly. As a developed country, has a good human capital and individuals who have a first-class mind, aspects of the development of moral, spiritual and ethical fortitude to Streamline and is enhanced in advance so that the wishes and major mission can be successfully achieved. Thereby, this paper gives an overview of academic dishonesty perspective and understanding of Islam's view on the issue in particular.
